Nest Thermostat 3rd Gen, bundled with stand. Thermostat alone is £199 alone on amazon and everywhere else. Stand is £29 separate. Saving of £38.
Doing the bundle for £190. Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.
Potential TCB of 5.25%, which has not tracked for me yet but is certainly within the category they specify so fingers crossed.
Been looking at one of the newer versions for a while but this is the best deal ive seen.

I'm guessing you still use an old Nokia phone then? £500 on an iPhone? whatever next.

£190 for a thermostat?! Whatever next, a talking banana?
Got my thermostat for about £20 at the old screwfix so way cheaper.

I have the hive and will be replacing it with this. Hive is so unreliable

Oh tempting, as selling the stand will pay for half the installation costs, and its £10 cheaper than the unit itself.

Any idea how much the installation would cost for this?

There are a list of Nest approved installers on their website, one of which quoted me £50, others more.
Some people say its simple to do yourself.

if you get it on the official nest site its £50, but from the 2 people i know who had it installed it took longer than expected due to the system they had and cost more. I'm going to give it a bash myself, looks fairly straight forward....famous last words.

Hi All - currently have a Nest Thermostat 3rd Gen (brand new - never used - but box opened) for sale - open to serious offers. It was purchased from Amazon will full receipt and warranty only a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately engineer couldn't install both hot water and heating control due to very old tank running 8v instead of 240 :disappointed:

Get in touch with Amazon customer service and explain what happened and they'll most likely take it back

I'll give you £8 rather than £240

Looks like a good deal, was about to jump but just realised Nest are owned by Google therefor unlikely to have any HomeKit support. Anyone else interested in HomeKit might want to hold out for the recently announced Honeywell thermostat.

Any links/info on the Honeywell? Brief summary of its plus points?

There is a YouTube video showing you how to diy. But for £50 I might just get them to do it. Heat thanks.
