I've just taken a pair of these back, because they were too short even though I got my husbands size, they were very snug on the waist too. I would order up.

How does that work practically in terms of body fat deposit? I know people store fat in different areas, but generally if you're fat in one area, say the gut, then you'll also be storing a lot of fat in your thighs for example.

Anyone got a pic of a 42 inch waist man wearing super slim jeans or chinos?

Just can't imagine how'd it work :confused:

Edit: FWIW, I vary between 32 inch and 33 inch pants (depending on how fit/slovenly I am at any given year) and I can't get away with skinny pants. Slim cut yes, but they're tight on the thighs. Super slim or skinny - just won't happen.

Just in the process of returning these - measured considerably shorter in leg measurement than on the label
