Repost from Linx 8 thread.
The Five Stages of Opportunist Resellers......
Stage 1. Pre Purchase Calculation.
It's only £50 and worth £100, and I can sell the Office Licence separately to make another £25-£30. I'll make £80 clear profit easy.
Stage 2. Expectation.
I have to get it and get it listed on E-Bay as quickly as possible. I know, I'll spend 30 minutes finding out where they have stock and then drive there and collect to be sure. So in total I'll spend maybe 90 minutes getting all my ducks in a row....but I'm sure to make £80 easy.
Stage 3. Hope.
OK....Got it and had a quick play...not sure what all the excitement is about.
Had a few problems extracting the Office Licence key...took a couple of hours in the end, but got it done. Took some photos so my listing looks good, by the time I'd done a decent non generic listing with my own decent photos took half an hour. Listings up and looks good, can't wait till Sunday evening when I'm bound to sell it for £80.
Stage 4. Reality.
"What the frack!!!, There's bl**dy loads of these listed now and prices seem to be dropping fast". My auction eventually closed at £55 and I only got £20 for the Office Licence as well. Oh well I suppose £75 is better then nothing as I'll still make £35. I'll pack it up and take it to the Post Office tomorrow.
Stage 5. Depression.
Forgot about the E-Bay and Paypal fees, in total that came to a tenner across both of the auctions....and another quid for packing it up and packing material. Took me half an hour waiting in the Post Office to get it posted on top of the half hour packing it up. Looking back I probably spent a couple of quid on petrol collecting it as well. So have to knock £13 off my profit of £35...so made £22 altogether. Hang on though, I spent nearly four and a half hours doing all this...to make £22........that's less then minimum wage!!
Frack!!!!

Remember when you update to windows 10 to run disk cleanup and remove the previous version to free up those precious gbs, also if you pop in a sd card, open computer management, go to disk management and format it as a ntfs folder. This way you can install apps to it as well as change document folders to this location, which you can do if you just pop it in and use it as a removable drive.
Bought it the other week for 70 pounds put a 128gb micro sd in bought a keyboard off ebay for 18 pounds sorted mini laptop/tablet just gotta get a case

Just picked 2 up for my wife and myself. Ordered the 8" from sainsburys last week but got cancelled due to stock issues, happy now because this is a better tablet, bigger screen and more ram.
