That's the same res as the 29 inch. Would only be worth if it was 3440.

I think you mean 1440p. Personally I'd prefer 1440p on this monitor too although it wouldn't be 21:9 aspect ratio then I think. Games such as Dota 2 don't like the aspect ratio of this monitor too, so you can expect some HUD problems in games.
if you were thinking of a 27", remember that this 29" is going to be nearly 2" shorter, 7" less display area and be the same size as a 23" when displaying 16:9 content (films or games that can't deal with ultrawide).
still a good price if you want this specifically, just a pointer in case you were expecting more usable space

No bro i mean 3440x1440. Thats 21:9 aspect ratio still. 1440p is 2560x1440 which is still 16:9

I was really tempted to get an ultrawide monitor, but was surprised by the reduced screen area compared to a 16:9 27" monitor (which I eventually settled for). If going for an ultrawide, I would have wanted a 34", but the additional cost put it out of my reach.
Before buying, I'd take the time to pop into a PC World (or wherever) and take a look at the screen to see for yourself.

Depends on your usage really, if you're the kind of person who usually uses 2 16:9 monitors then it's damn good as a single screen replacement. Been dying for a dual monitor setup with ultrawides to replace my 3x21" setup but for productivity only curved is really worth it for me having seen both flat and curved dual ultrawide setups. Although I'd probably end up keeping my 3x21's and mounting them above the ultrawides anyway. Can never have too much screen real estate.
