I've yet to have ANYTHING Lexar which lasts more than a year or so. TWO USB sticks failed on me, two SD micro cards have too. Good deal, but Lexar......

Admittedly I only have one 64GB Lexar (Orange) and it's lasted 3 years used daily for video from PS4 > MacBook > PC > YouTube upload (USB 3.0) I guess I got lucky?

Agreed. Their SD micros are every bit as dismal

Cheap and high speed so hot.
But I really hate when the only images are CG renders. I mean is the actual USB plug on this metal? Plastic?
If it's plastic like it looks like they're trying to represent then this is a broken usb stick waiting to happen.

It is plastic. Material quality may not be there but if you look after it, its a really good/fast 128GB usb stick for £20.
I've had one for half a year with my keys and no sign of wear and tear.

I only use Lexar. Never had a problem with them. Maybe you guys have just had some back luck with them ?
has anyone actually tested the write speeds as I recently bought a 128gb Kingston DataTraveler SE9 G2 drive and it was terrible for write speed

I've had the lower capacity one of these and the build quality is horrible. Genuinely avoid these imho, no matter how attractive it might seem right now. It's useless having a 128GB USB stick if you can't even get your PC to read it. Sorry OP, but voting cold - avoid.

I have the 32 Gb model plugged into my Incredisonic media streamer. Hasn't missed a beat in a year. Fine if you don't handle them too much?
