Hmmm no mention of graphics. To me, general leptops arent really worth this kind of money without a dedicated graphics card. i7 or not.

I would assume it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, so it will have Intel HD graphics 530. There are hardly any performance differences between this and low end dedicated graphics cards. So it might be worth considering, since the battery life would be significantly better than one with a dedicated card. For me it is a deal breaker, since I use my laptop at home only, and would like the performance of a high end card.

It really depends what you do with the laptop, as to whether it matters or not, I rarely play games on mine, so the fact it has a dedicated, battery eating, heat producing graphics card is a little pointless, yet somehow I quite often manage to max out all the cores on my i7. I only chose this laptop because it was the size, weight, construction and price I wanted to pay, removing the dedicated card is not an option, sadly.

Realsense (plus the i7 of course) is the main cost bump for this, it's a great business laptop if you're doing a load of video conferences.

I have bought it on 28 December 2015, and its perfect for me , no issue because it has 6th generation Quad core processor with 6700HQ, I've bought this for programming purposes as i'm a software developer, and simply it is more then enough for me, great spec for this price, the drawback is just the it back cover is poor quality means if you turn off the light you can see the light coming from the back cover visible, although no problem for me and for work purposes it is more then good,
