I have been looking around for a 40 inch tele for around £400-£500. Found this 4K 49 inch tele for a £500 with WiFi, all the Smart facilities and 4K upscaler. Looks like a good deal to me with 5 year warranty.
I might price match with JL as I like their customer service. If anyone has better deals in this price range for 4K 49inch tele, please let me know as I will be buying a tele soon.
Hope this deal help others.

He seems to think that's how this site works. If your see a deal on an item, buy it, take it home, test it thoroughly and then post the deal on here. That's a thorough service he's after there!

Can anyone comment on the WebOS if they have used it?

WebOS is very good especially if used with LG's Magic Remote which may be optional on this.
Most pro TV reviewers rate WebOS as the best UI on Smart TV's.

Have you checked JL website?
Their are 3 reviews on this tv
I've got the non 4K version of this and the web OS is fine' it can be a bit slow to respond to commands at times but I don't know how others compare so maybe that's normal ?

So you posted a deal not knowing if this was a good tv or not? or can you vouch for this TV and it being worth the cash?

The only review I had was from JL which seems to be good. I have compared other TVs and for the price it seems like a good deal. Unfortunately, I haven't used this particular TV. I was hoping people can comment on this TV's pros and cons if they already have one and help each other.

My previous TV which broke down under warranty was a samsung 48 inch F series. Although it had a dual core processor the menus were sluggish but not annoyingly slow.

Fair enough, apart from the occasional sluggishness when using the smart features on my TV ( and I'm probably being picky ) it's a brilliant unit and was worth every penny for me anyway.
This is a good price but unless you've got worries about the retailer I'd stick with them as they are doing the deal and its with a 5 year warranty too - I'm no fan of getting other retailers to price match others however it's a fair amount of money to part with so I can understand to an extent why you may want to.
Whilst your at it see if they can throw in a magic remote' well recommended with the LG Smart TVs ( £30 online ) if you don't ask you won't get

You may need the Bluetooth adaptor too which is another £20-25.

A question about the 5 years warranty with this company. What happens if you do not register it with LG within the first 28 days? Do you lose the warranty itself? Surely thats cant be possible as if they have advertised it on their website they need to provide it correct? I would much appreciate a response from somoene in the know about this.

I don't think you have to register the tv to qualify for the 5 year warranty as the TV is sold with the warranty irrespective.
I've had two LG tv's neither of which I registered with LG' I had a fault on one a few years back and got in touch with Costco ( where I bought it ) and they sent somebody out to repair it straight away under warranty with no questions asked as obviously they had a record of it and I had my receipt.
That was with Costco but I can't see why any other retailer would be any different.
