If you don't know what it is (even though it says in the description) why vote?
Not being funny just asking a question

Voted cold because they don't know what it is. Just when you think HUKD can't surprise you anymore. /shakes head/

If you have sensitive hearing- these are terrible. They make this really loud high pitched bleep sound that kind of oscillates. It's strange. My newer (more expensive) one I got does it too, but it's MUCH, MUCH quieter, I can only hear it on my new one if my ear is right next to it.

We thought the noise coming from our charger was because it was a cheaper one. Had to take ours from the bedside due to the noise it made.

I've got 2 official Sony and I've used a cheapo Amazon job and none have made any noise. I've had a cheap USB charger make a buzzing sound before, but never a Qi, so they can definitely be silent.

As said, it depends on your hearing. It's not the same sort of sound as a buzzing charger. It's different, sort of like a beeping with weird clicks rather than a buzz.

I thought mosquitoes had evolved as I can't hear them anymore. Then I realised I'm getting old.
I'm guessing if you've never heard a cat scarer in someone's garden, or the high pitch teenager deterrents outside a newsagents you won't be able to hear this.

Wonderful contribution. Except you forgot to mention what you had for tea last night, and various other irrelevant details.

The description is perfectly self-explanatory and even if it wasn't, it's still a good deal even if you don't understand what it is.
