Good 'til it just dies without warning - flat battery. . . And no spare. 1.3 ah lowest cap. you can get. Buying a seperate battery is never as good value as when 2 are included.
The dewalt fanboys will vote this hot no doubt .

Same for any battery operated device. If you need it for more demanding work buy another battery.

Comes with only 1 battery - reason for £70, also only 1 year warranty vs 3 years for Hitachi or Stanley...

Blue bosch with 2 batteries for £100 or with one 3A battery from screwfix for £90 may be better (for more money, but you also get more).

It's for people to make up their own minds. Depends on it's usage. I'd probably go for the Bosch, tho' I'm thinking lots of use.

Is this makita with 2 batteries for £28 more worth it over this.
Makita are miles better than Dewalt aka (Black & Decker) but beware the drill in your link is a cheapo Makita version made to a budget for B&Q , It uses its own non standard batteries that are not interchangeable with other Makita LXT products or chargers.

Same as any Li-Ion then. They're designed like this, for good reason.
