Yes, it is a proper i7. Intel decides what constitutes an i7, not you.

Nice. Sadly likely to go cold though as someone will invariably compare it to some clevo chassis based plastic Gaming laptop with a better GPU and more storage for £200 less....
That seems to be the problem when posting Ultra-book deals on here but the Dell XPS range is genuinely beautifully built and worth the extra money. I had the XPS 15 which I returned to buy this instead. The XPS 13 is so portable and with the quality and technology to match. Perfect Ultrabook for me and at £999 plus a tenner post was too good to miss.
Although if size and a touchscreen are important to you over a dedicated GPU and quad core then fair enough.

My old device was a Dell Inspiron 7537 and was a great Laptop but just too heavy at almost twice the weight of the XPS 13. The light weight, decent spec and high quality materials is what makes these attractive device.

The design is the reason the XPS is my choice. don't care for touchscreen. Size is bonus

That's a 15 inch. Can you get those specs in the 13 inch screen?
