Good price but typically very dissapointing quality, try not to buy their meats based on so much cack in terms of quality when cooked, some of their finest is no more than value..

Quite agree. I used to think Tesco joints were OK but we opened a topside roast from the freezer last weekend and the cut was just awful. Sinew and tendons all the way through. There was no way to get a decent sized slice of meat off it.
With all the majors doing 'half-price' meat on a rota, there's no need to risk it at Tesco now.
