Thought this would be posted already today, switch to them and they will give you £150 cash back, they did this early last year and got loads of new business. Usual rules apply have to switch 2 direct debits and transfer in £1000 a month for 2 months and think this may be new activate online banking.
Some good cashback deals at the moment. will add the YB link in first post
other Banks have offers at the moment will add the links to the first post, most have been posted already on here so wont call this a mega thread :)

You guys are all idiots revealing your HUKD usernames, I've just used them to ransack all your bank accounts. Security!!

Bank name a secret for security?
That's like not disclosing that you drive a Skoda for fear it might be stolen!

From experience, YB do not keep their promises. I transferred from Halifax to YB starting 2nd Dec 2014 (YB said my account would be live from this date) but my account wasn't even open with them til 7th Jan 2015 and in the meantime they managed to convince Halifax to fully close my account with them so I was left with no account whatsoever over Xmas. Ended up transferring back to Hailifax within a week of the YB account being opened without an apology from YB in the whole time!

A family member had no major problems going through their account switching service a year ago. Account switched, old one closed and cashback paid. Only downside was ending up with one of their Credit Cards as part of that process.

I tried joining Yorkshire Bank / Clydesdale. Forget on-line, they insist you call them and spend 35 minutes telling the information to someone who is slow at typing things in. Ten days later they sent me eighteen pages of forms to be completed, some of which made no sense and some of which needed the information I had already provided them with over the phone. I went to another bank who gave me £100 and have since given me offers that took the benefits to over £150. (Bank name kept secret for security, but the good deals are out there.)

Are you 12? How is disclosing information on the name of your bank going to aid in security?

I opened an account online on Monday with Clydesdale. No problems at all (yet). Accepted there and then.

if you think the £150 is payment for 41 hour work it's a good hourly rate post tax.... so the forms and phone calls are worth it. opened 7 account ts when you could do this a few times so 1050 quid for 7 hours work want bad.
