thick question but what's better about the chromecast 2 over chromecast 1 please. debating upgrading if they're better.

More energy efficient (due to processor)
Dual core processor
Less flash storage - 256MB vs. 2GB
Wireless to 802.11 ac (instead of 802.11 b/g/n) so 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz
Better wireless antenna layout so better connectivity
Better styling IMO
Both have 512MB of RAM, so for 1st gen a total of 2.5GB not 4GB

The Two is faster at loading but thats about it and the wifi thing too

requires USB power, I've had plugged it into the USB on my Samsung, and a cheap tesco TV and both work fine

Yeah, I thought the credit was expired or about to expire. That was a good offer. The Equaliser doesn't sweeten this deal as much as the voucher would have. £22 is ok.
