ive got several doors to install and was going to purchase some chisels so thanks, hope there upto the job, althought i suspect i wont be.

providing you use them correctly they should be fine. with a plastic handle I would avoid using a claw hammer so find a wooden or plastic mallet. aside from that take your time and take small amounts off and you will be fine. good luck

Well, a router makes that job a lot quicker. Although I've added heat to this find, my personal view with tools is to always buy the best, once, rather than cheap, often. So I rarely have to buy any...
