Seems like a very good deal for a 2 year lease with 10,000 miles per year.

Err... No. Buy something you don't mind having a knock in.
There's a reason new drivers pay more insurance.

I'm going to query on this for 5000 miles personal. do you think I would be able to put my private plates on this?

should be able to. just contact the lease company for confirmation. got my private plate on lease car. just be aware you will need to pay DVLA to transfer plate unless it's on retention.

Evening all
I'm new to this, and have an opportunity to move from a company car to a car allowance, and this was a car I was looking at, so I hope this is still around in a couple of months.
Just need to work out whether the saving in car tax and the allowance will make this worthwhile. I probably do around 10,000 a year, certainly no more.

Only marginal but slightly cheaper here over the term. Good find heat added,
I'd be quick if you want this deal with one of the other companies the price on this has gone up today, usually they have a block of cars to move and when they're gone the deal is gone.

You need GAP insurance, and you need GAP insurance to also cover your initial down payment. Personal leasing costs a bit more than business leasing. It's usually better to lease than buy a brand new car. I don't know much more than that.

Is leasing a good idea for a first car?

Hi I leased for my first car, don't listen to the negative comments. If you feel confident then go for it! Why not, I've never a a knock or scratch and I'm on my second car now, a kuga, which both have been brand new

As others have said, your best but is to get a cheap runabout with a small-ish engine size so you don't get murdered for insurance, esp if you're under 25. Once you have been driving 1-2 and maybe done 10k miles it's time to think about the next step
