It makes me angry that this service, which saves so many lives, is not fully funded by the bloody taxes we all pay!! But no, our government will sit back and let people pay extra while giving India a huge wad of cash for a new spaceship!!!! What next? a charity to pay for ambulances? a collection box for teaching staff???? :smirk:

Great cause. Don't live anywhere near but people should support this.

Nah mate, you're a racist. Out of all the *billions* of pounds of government waste and failing initiatives and unpaid taxes, you focus on the money going to the Muslims and the Indians. That makes you racist. As for my intelligence and education, I can absolutely guarantee that you're not in a position to question them.

Do support the charity though, even though everything will be priced at £1, donating a bit more would be appreciated by them.

I agree but dont blame the government. What people forget is that all government spending comes from taxation. If you want better services then you need to pay more tax. But putting taxes up is unpopular. Think about it when was ladt time a party was elected based on promise to ncrease taxes???? . There's your answer.

Absolutely. Don't understand why they don't get public funding. Provide a critical emergency service in life or death situations...shouldn't constantly have to fundraise.
edit: oops, didn't read the diatribe about foreign aid.

Why is it any lack of government funding is suddenly used as a political football. Lack of flood defences, blame the refugee, lack of air ambulance, blame India. The current tory austerity program is through choice, plain and simple. They want any and every public service to be privatised, run for profit. The market rules.
But don't let facts get in the way of blaming those less well off for our own government choices.

Not anymore mate, try reading some news papers now and then instead of posting crazy comments just for the sake of likes from other stupids like you. Read below.
Indian government is not accepting any charity money from UK and India have offered Nepal and other countries 100s of million dollars at earthquakes and other disasters. If some are giving money to India (through some charity) to feel they are in the elite squad of rich, they are to blame. Use Africa or similar now on, not India. India is well off, don't worry.
