Just got this last week before it dropped in price by £30. Absolutely beautiful screen, with 100% sRGB colour accuracy (perfect for graphic design and photo editing), a response time of 4ms (great for gaming, and the best I've found for a mid-range IPS), and a max brightness of 350cd/m2.
Simply the best IPS screen I could find for the price, and the new discount only sweetens the deal.

Used them for years, always fantastic service with next day delivery. Very good with no quibble returns too.
to be fair, many folk who are interested in the colour accuracy for image editing may already have a colorimeter... this is a great price for that spec screen for photo work

It comes pre-calibrated to 100% accuracy right out of the box with it's sRGB mode  Many reviewers have performed tests and stated this.

You wouldn't get a 4ms IPS screen if you were interested in professional colour accuracy

Why not? Not sure what your definition of "professional" is, but this is the best you're going to get for the price range.

that's gray to gray 4ms, so more like 6-8 white to black actual refresh. g2g is basicly "cheat" ms people put on boxes.

This is 140 quid cheaper than john lewis. Anyone got any experience with Scan? All things being equal it is a bargain.

Use them for work on a weekly basis. Never been an issue down to them, had some doa parts they've always replaced next day

Scan's return service is definitely not on par with John Lewis and Amazon. I have perviously placed orders worth >1500£ with Scan.
I had to return sth. once and they totally screwed me. They usually only pass the defect product to the manufacturer. If the latter doesn't have great service or screws up then you will be totally left alone by Scan. They will not fight your case, but fight you and make your life hell.
Since then I have stopped ordering from Scan.

Eddeddeddedd, how well does this resolution work in 25 inches? I was lead to believe 27 would work better? I want to get more on the screen than my 22 inch, 1920 X 1080 allows, but not so tiny it becomes difficult to read. Appreciate any advice you can give. Yhx

Depends on what OS you use. Windows 10 is very good at calibrating the screen to the right text size etc. The rest depends on the programmes and games

Xela333, i have Windows 7. Am reticent to upgrade despite being prompted by microsoft. Any idea W7 will deal with the higher resolution well enough? Thx

I'm on Windows 7 too and it looks great IMO... I just upgraded from an old 1080p 22" monitor, so it was slightly jarring at first, but now I'm used to it I could never go back!
I love that there's enough space to pin two windows to both sides of the screen :P

After you calibrate it. Add £120 to the price.
