Hi, it's quite expensive but I use this Techno Line BL700 which you can control the charge rate, recondition batteries etc.
They are excellent batteries, seem to last longer than the standard 7dayshop 2900 mah variety

I have both the 2150 and 2900 mah batteries. Havent really noticed any difference but if the 2150s are outdoing the 2900s theres something seriously wrong!

Or I've just spotted this one which looks identical to my Techno Line BL700 but is £8 cheaper. Still relatively expensive but it works well and can extend the life of your batteries.
I'm not sure if they've updated the Voltcraft unit to include a UK plug/adapter but the one that came with it was a bit of a Frankenstein job... fast forward to 3:00 in the video below to see the power 'adapter' they send it out with. If it's still coming out with that, I'd personally give it a miss.
