Approved Food is an online discount food retailer based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in the United Kingdom. Approved Foods work by trading in products with a 'best before' date - basically just the manufacturer's guess of when the product will start to go off. But, as you probably experience all the time, the majority of products are still good to eat or drink well past that date (but don't worry, Approved Food don't sell chilled or frozen 'use by' products).
Approved Food then buy this stock in large quantities and pass those savings on to you. This applies to all sorts of groceries, many of which are major brands you'd usually shop for on a weekly basis. All you have to do is buy online, then Approved Food will pack it and deliver straight to you door!
One per person.
Voucher valid until 29th Jan 2016.
New Approved Food customers only.
Approved Food's T&Cs apply.
Delivery costs £5.99 for 1 box (1x25kg) £8.50 for 2 boxes (2x25kg boxes) of goodies; £4.50 per extra 25kg thereafter.

Really expensive for what they pay there stuff, out of date and short dated products are purchased for 10 percent or less of the rrp, inturn these people inflate rrps on there website and sell out of date stuff at massive profits claiming your saving 70 percent.I see products in home bargains, heron,or b and m selling in-date products for a lot less when eventually approved gets them when there about or to expire, approved food was cheap, now its just profiteering from all the free advertising it had from TV shows like bargain mad Britain.

this should give you a general idea of products and prices
Not bad. Indeed I agree with what you're saying. 99% of food is still edible past it's BBE date, even if it's moldy it can still be saved by cutting off the mold - not to say I've tried it but from a documentary I saw on TV.
I had some Bulmers two days ago and realised that it was 2/3 months out of "date", tasted fine. I hate people who instantly throw stuff out if it's on or a day past the BBE date.
The only quarm is that, what happens if say you're ill from this food? Obviously very slim chance but maybe the one or two items that get throw that could actually be out of date?

I don't think they sell anything that could hurt you from being out of date, like fresh meat. I have ordered from them and been really pleased. nothing tasted bad.

Thanks OP, just purchased. You have to be a new customer though so looks like other half is having it set up in his name. Ordered from here a few times myself, items state online the BBE date, so you do know what it is before buying. Nothing is sold past a USE BY date. I've had plenty of things that have come in date and never been ill.
