Just got an email from Spotify, and they are starting this deal again for new years.
Sign up to a new account and get 3 months of premium for 99p or if you have not used premium before, you can claim it through the link at the side.
Also make sure you don't forget to cancel the premium just before the 3 months ends or you will be charged the regualr rate. I made this mistake last time and was paying £9.99 for over 7 months without realising it.
If you pay using PayPal, you can easily cancel a subscription using this guide: http://www.wikihow.com/Cancel-a-PayPal-Subscription

Is there anyway to move a play list from one account to another?

Click the playlist you want to keep, in the top right (on the app) press the 3dots, select the share option, send to option and put in the email address for the new account you are using.

When logged into Spotfiy on desktop client, 'grab' a playlist and drag it to your desktop. Now logout, then back in as your new account, simply drag playlist shortcut back into client and boom there is your playlist.
This is how I did it last month anyway.

On the PC client you can 'drag' tracks out of the client window into this and then back into a new account.

Went for it last night, skipped out on most of these offers since they are for new accounts only, would have been great if it worked on the same account everytime this offer came about, but will finally give it a go, Spotify is great for finding new music.

for those wondering you can just cancel as soon as you pay for the 3 months. you don't have to wait until a few days before.

there is a 90 day trial on chromecast in case anyone hasn't used that yet. (also 90 day google play music trial - not tried that yet, no idea how it compares)

For those asking about playing songs from old playlist/ transferring playlists across to the new account, you can do this:
1. Right click the playlist on your main account (in the sidebar) and check "Collaborative Playlist".
2. Copy the link that allows people to modify the playlist.
3. Create a new account and purchase this 3 months deal.
4. Go into the search bar and paste the link you copied.
5. Follow the playlist on the new account.
6. Making a Collaborative Playlist means you can add and change songs in that playlist (i.e. it isn't locked to your main account).
Note: This is assuming you are using Spotify Desktop. It's a bit trickier with the Mobile App.
