Just got an email from Spotify, and they are starting this deal again for new years.
Sign up to a new account and get 3 months of premium for 99p or if you have not used premium before, you can claim it through the link at the side.
Also make sure you don't forget to cancel the premium just before the 3 months ends or you will be charged the regualr rate. I made this mistake last time and was paying £9.99 for over 7 months without realising it.
If you pay using PayPal, you can easily cancel a subscription using this guide: http://www.wikihow.com/Cancel-a-PayPal-Subscription

I seen this offer last night but it seems to have disappeared today? back to the 30 day free trial only?
Thanks for the heads up, I managed to get this offer on the 1st of January.

Went to the website, it's just free for 30 days? Voted cold.

Why vote at all? The offer was there. It has now expired. Voting cold is rather silly  Just press the expire button.

Just wondering once I've paid the 99p I can cancel through PayPal and still use it for the next 3 months right? Don't trust myself to remember to cancel it in 3 months is all.
Just cancel it on Spotify straight away. That's what I did and it won't expire until 3 months time. Saves me remembering in 3 months time to cancel it, when it can be done now.

Brilliant app, and constantly being updated. I have been paying £9.99 for Premium over the last couple of years, so £0.99 for 3 months us an absolute steal.

Great app, use it daily for hours. Get it for 4.99 a month thanks to the dodgy NUS card posted on here a while back.

The day you start using VK you wouldn't consider paying for an app a deal although it's only 99p

Same as a few others does anyone know when this expires? My paid subscription ends 24/01/16 and I want to get the whole free 3 months on a new account.

Click the playlist you want to keep, in the top right (on the app) press the 3dots, select the share option, send to option and put in the email address for the new account you are using.

When logged into Spotfiy on desktop client, 'grab' a playlist and drag it to your desktop. Now logout, then back in as your new account, simply drag playlist shortcut back into client and boom there is your playlist.
This is how I did it last month anyway.

On the PC client you can 'drag' tracks out of the client window into this and then back into a new account.

I hate these new customer discounts. Thanks for rewarding us long time users paying the full amount every month...

Yhey do it tp attract new customers, to make more money, and could argue to creating you a better service for the money you pay.
I'm a fan of Deezer myself, had a few deals for them so its cost me about £2 for 9months or something. They've improved the mobile and web apps alot in that time

Now may be a handy time to remind people who have a gmail or googlemail email account that [email protected] and [email protected] are the same account but to databases like Spotify they are a new user!
(You can add a period anywhere in userna.me and it will go to your correct username account).
This only works for Google Email as far as I'm aware.

It's 9.99 for 3 months for returning customers also at the moment if you don't qualify under the new users tag

Bought this deal last year. The Mac I used to sign up still has Premium working on it, even though I didn't subscribe beyond the introductory period. May not work for everyone, but def worth a try.

It's premium for mobile users, think you get premium or most of the benefits from just the usual laptop app

I made a new Spotify account but it's not letting me pay with my Paypal. Is it because I've already used Paypal for free premium before and in that case I can't ever take advantage of one of these offers anymore?

Yeah, it also remembers your credit cards so you can only use them once. It surprised me because most sites a change of email is enough.

Use another email or do the gmail trick. e.g. your.[email protected] was the original one you used. Just move the first dot, as in you.[email protected]
That's the easiest way.

Ah, well, I can only use Paypal that is linked to my bank account as I don't have any credit cards and the card my bank provided can only be used to withdraw money from an ATM, not for online payments.
Made it with a completely different email but used same Paypal as before :disappointed:

For those asking about playing songs from old playlist/ transferring playlists across to the new account, you can do this:
1. Right click the playlist on your main account (in the sidebar) and check "Collaborative Playlist".
2. Copy the link that allows people to modify the playlist.
3. Create a new account and purchase this 3 months deal.
4. Go into the search bar and paste the link you copied.
5. Follow the playlist on the new account.
6. Making a Collaborative Playlist means you can add and change songs in that playlist (i.e. it isn't locked to your main account).
Note: This is assuming you are using Spotify Desktop. It's a bit trickier with the Mobile App.
Hope that helps some people!

Went for it last night, skipped out on most of these offers since they are for new accounts only, would have been great if it worked on the same account everytime this offer came about, but will finally give it a go, Spotify is great for finding new music.
