So for two people you'll save £3.98. That's a good chunk towards your drinks.
I'm sure these are hit and miss. Our local one is pretty good.

Anywhere is a prison with the wrong attitude to life. Go on go out enjoy a healthy meal for a fiver. You may even crack a smile

Lol, its not that bad. They used to be ok but cost cutting has got to them getting cheap cuts of beef. Avoid the disgusting beef and the roast is not bad

I do like carveries....we have a Toby here in Morecambe....but I prefer to drive to Preston or Blackpool for a Crown Carvery. They taste nicer for some reason...not sure why. :stuck_out_tongue:

I previously thought the exact opposite was true so I stopped going to Crown. But I haven't been to Crown for about 3-4 years now so it's worth me giving it another shot!

My nearest Crown Carvery on Grane road in Haslingden is awful.
Luckily we have 2x Tobys in Bury where I live
When I watch Bury FC away at Morecambe I always go to your Morecambe Toby for a pre match meal, one of the best in the country surprised you don't use your local Toby !

You probably just prefer the frozen veg at Crown compared to the fresh veg at Toby.
Or maybe you prefer the less fatty and cheaper top rump/topside/silverside of beef at crown, compared to the rolled rib of beef at Toby
The Crown in Fulwood (Preston) is dreadful in my opinion.
The Toby at the shrimp in Morecambe is one of the best I've been to, the downside being that they have a habit of forgetting the drinks order.
Maybe the Crown has improved in the year or so since I last went.
Plus tastes differ.

All Crown Carverys I've been to have awful frozen veg, frozen Yorkshire's and tough meat. Very rare you get poor dinner at a Toby though.

It certainly isnt the same stuff - beef in tobys used to be ok, but now is horrible. Crowns beef is even worse
Opening post
Enjoy!
