Ah, the old sheep brigade. I'm not a fan of the term, but I'd argue that you're more sheepy, because you can't just ignore a deal that you're not interested in. You feel the need to pop in and post childish comments.
It's not like you're even offering any constructive criticism.
I should have probably ignored you and not given you the attention you crave, but it's done now.

Yep, because everyone knows that the manufacturing cost of the final product, is the ONLY Cost, right? These products design themselves, the prototypes assemble themselves, test themselves. the software is created out of thin air with no cost, and the finished products Teleport themselves from China to the end customer.

I have had the Apple Watch since it was released and use it nearly everyday, and it's nice. I take calls on it when am driving, I switch tracks when my phone isn't on me I use it to pay for things with Apple Pay (cool full stop) you can read messages when they are sent to you without taking your phone out, you can silence a call by just putting your hand over the watch.
It's very nice
If you have the money get this because it's a good deal!

I think next generation is due approx Q2 2016. I'm keen to get an Apple Watch having had Android wear and now moved to iOS but the battery life of the first generation product has really put me off. For most people, I would recommend you wait to see how the next generation turns out as I would expect some fairly large steps forward in performance. Voted hot though because it's a solid price for the product.

Ive had mine now for 4 months or so and love it. In my view it doesn't really provide anything my phone can't already do but it's a nice gadget. I love using my watch for message updates, Apple Pay, cinema tickets and airline tickets. I think the watch has a lot of untapped potential, but there is a way to go before it becomes a must have item like your smart phone. If you are tied into IOS, can spare the money and like the idea of a smart watch then it's probably worth buying. If you don't like it after 4 months sell it on eBay and get 2/3rds of your money back.
I believe there is a new version of the watch being released early next year.

I was going to wait for the next gen but spoke with someone apple tech guy and he said 12 to 18 months for the next gen. Most rumour miles think at least 12 months, but apple do try to keep release dates secret

The main issue for me would be battery life. I've heard they don't last more than a day whereas Pebble's ones last a week. I simply couldn't be doing with charging yet another device every day - I already have problems with my phone! I don't doubt they're useful, but I want to be able to spend more than 24hours away from power sometimes and still be able to tell what the **** time is.

If they start following a yearly cycle then the next one will be along in 4 months ish, but its not set in stone yet. If I was a betting man I'd say April

Rumours agree! I'm waiting for the next. Also likely to drop by more than £50 closer to April.
