Why not use the 2FOR9 code resulting in £14 delivered for same 2 x £6.96 pairs, or is the frame choice different?

I used to buy my specs from Goggles4u but I started geting headaches when reading. When I recieved the last pair I bought the headaches were more frequent and I realised it might be the glasses, took them to local optician who does my eye tests and was told that the glasses were not only to the wrong prescription but wearing them would make my eyes worse. Took pair I had bought 6 months before to optician and was told they were even worse.
I love a Bargain, but like my eyes and reading even more.

Unfortunately I've had the same experience. I ordered two pairs on a previous deal, one was ok but there was something wrong with the other pair as I had blurred vision. The glasses were delivered from a factory in Pakistan.
Complained via their online chat and a replacement was sent immediately no questions asked. Didn't have to return the original pair either. Replacement had the same issue. Gave up in the end. Took that pair to a high street optician and was told the lenses had not been centred on the frame and I shouldn't be wearing them at all. The acetate frames that are in the ultra cheap category as in this deal are really quite flimsy and feel cheap as well, I mention this as I've now had three so far.
I wouldn't buy from them again. Of course we might be outliers here, according to TrustPilot this company is ace.

Glasses are one of the only things that I can never buy online. Often in specsavers there's only one pair among about 100 pairs of glasses that I find suitable so finding one online I find difficult, possible but a bit of a risk. The 100 quid hit I take at specsavwrs I just absorb (2 for one offer) but it's good as I'm prone to breaking them and they fix them for free.
