Think 16mm leads are suggested for 2.0ltr so probably require a beefy 25mm set to be safe. 10mm probably not great for 400+amps
Quick google, 20mm high quality will do 500amps which should be plenty for 2.7d imo.

My little diesel fiesta 1.4 needs 590 amps to start on cold morning.
2.7 will need lot more.
Having said that you should only need jump Leeds to give a bit of boost as main battery should have something in it. If completely dead I would use bigger cable are charge it if possible.

Hmm, looks about £8.99 worth of tools to me; cheap monkey metal that'll get mashed or snap as soon as you need to move something slightly tight. Tools that let you down when you really need them are as bad as no tool at all.
