Think 16mm leads are suggested for 2.0ltr so probably require a beefy 25mm set to be safe. 10mm probably not great for 400+amps
Quick google, 20mm high quality will do 500amps which should be plenty for 2.7d imo.

Does anyone know if the jump leads are suitable for large engine cars, namely 2.7ltr diesel?

Just purchased 3 for £24.27 but only got £1.71 through Topcashback which is only 7%. How strange.

My little diesel fiesta 1.4 needs 590 amps to start on cold morning.
2.7 will need lot more.
Having said that you should only need jump Leeds to give a bit of boost as main battery should have something in it. If completely dead I would use bigger cable are charge it if possible.

Just ordered one. Can't go wrong with this price. Heat added.

Hmm, looks about £8.99 worth of tools to me; cheap monkey metal that'll get mashed or snap as soon as you need to move something slightly tight. Tools that let you down when you really need them are as bad as no tool at all.

Can't go wrong... unless you actually need to use any of the items, anyway!
Jump leads won't be great at higher currents (sometimes it just needs a little extra), tools all look really poor quality.
Maybe if it was £3, might be worth considering.
Otherwise, I'd stick a tenner in the glove box and use that to get a taxi home :P.

Always use jump leads to charge weak battery for as long as possible ,at a bit faster than tickover , before trying to start.
