Not sturdy at all and they smell like old ash trays.

Not sturdy at all, i mainly use mine for video games, controllers and loose cables from various gadgets. For a £1 they're great for those types of items, anything heavier you will more than likely snap the plastic.
I would also agree with the other HUKD users, these boxes stink.

ish. I bought about 50 of them a few years ago, they can stack maybe 5 high, beyond that they will crack. They are quite brittle, drop them and they will crack. Put heavy stuff (books) in them and they will crack.
They're well worth a quid but the £2.99 giant ones I bought at the same time from dunelm are still in perfect shape, whereas I think I've only got maybe half of the poundland ones left now.

Not very if you intend to use for childrens toys. They crack pretty easy and can be razor sharp, so only get them for cupboard/garage storage I would suggest.

seem very sturdy to me. i did have these other more expensive ones but they tended to snap. but these seem a tougher plastic..

They've had these in for Eons.
I like em but 60% of em in the shop are knackered.
If you're prepared to accept that the lids are made out of tissue paper then fine. The boxes themselves are respectable.
