I wonder if they work in the winter? Longer nights to be on, shorter days to charge

Maybe for one winter, but certainly not for many... We tried a few solar lights from poundland, and they all died within weeks.

Great price - but these will shine about as much as a small candle... Solar powered lighting has a long way to go yet...

The only reason poundland are still in business is that the cost of returning something is bigger than any refund you would get. If people took back everything that broke within a week or didn't work as described they would become overwhelmed with returned stock, no not stock tat.

Sorry - but these are really poor.

Might as well throw your money down the drain..

Worse than useless as you will have drilled a big hole in your deck before it stops working.

Why would anyone buy a light for a pound, cut a hole in their decking to fit it!? When it breaks, what would you fill the hole with?!?'
