Don't know who wrote that blurb you've copy and pasted but these run Android TV OS not Android. They aren't the same thing.

Sorry, you're wrong. Android TV is a platform on Android OS (lollipop). You can't have Android TV without the OS, hence why this tv runs both by it's very nature. That includes the full range of apps available to any other android lollipop device. the only limitations would be hardware such as GPS, touch gestures etc.
Motionflow XR 200HZ. i would go for 8305 (49 inch) if size is not matter

Managed to get this for £599 during the Amazon Black Friday sale, and it's an alright TV but not too keen on the Android stuff on top of it, especially the idea of Google monitoring everything I watch but for the price I paid it's alright just wish it wasn't a 50Hz panel.
