As you say, cheapest currently, but given it was this price so recently I would hold out until Boxing Day/New Year sales, purely because this doesn't have a lengthy warranty. Cheapest currently though so good spot.

I agree to be honest. Think the high street stores are just price establishing at the moment so they can 'slash' the price next week. Hopefully it might be sub £799 too at that point.

I got this for 799 from John Lewis on black Friday and I'm pretty impressed with it. it does suffer from a tiny bit of backlight bleed but it's hardly noticeable.

Finlux. I know it's Vestel but very impressed with mine after 1 month. Got a Sony htgt1 soundbar to go with it.

Is it the tv and picture you don't like or the android system?
Sony TVs I've seen always seem to have a great picture and the sets look nice themselves.
