why not just build a full scale cinema room on the side of your house? much better than a little tv...

At best though the stuff on Netflix is only marginally better than Blu Ray. I for one will be sticking with Plasma for the next few years until OLED prices come down at best, and at worst they actually do more with existing LCD technology with the likes of nano crystal and quantum dot etc.

Brought one from them black Friday, excellent TV and if u get the right settings the pictures are superb. Well worth the money but get a soundbar if your just using TV for sound.

Maybe use it as a monitor? UHD seems pointless at only 40".
You would have to sit quite close to see any benefit.
