i think thats gotta be a yes looking at the size of it to dissipate the heat ... my sandisk one is literally too hot to handle - cant be good for its long term life

i've got one of the 128gb sandisk ones at the moment and ordered another the other day but haven't tried it yet. i've had the 64gb ones working fine for a year or longer and before that the 32gb ones and had one or two 16gb ones and i never noticed any heat issues or had any problems with them, so i'm not sure why the 128gb ones would have heat issues if the other models didn't
i'm going to get one of these and see what it's like

I looked at this, having recently bought an all metal 3.0 Integral Fusion one of the same capacity from my memory, albeit at £33ish. It matched my new "gold" Asus Zenbook ultrabook that I bought due to a post on here, and this looked as though it would be an even more flush fit.
Don't like the idea of it getting hot though...

Theres a few reviews on Amazon US, stating the speeds are pretty evenly matched, and that it doesnt get superhot.. so it looks good.
