I don't usually comment on comments but my gosh there a lot of haters here. The car is £15K new which is pretty good. If your going to compare it to a VW or other German brand please provide a link to a new car of similar cost, otherwise it's just a pointless comment.
Also one bad experience with a car does not reflect on a whole brand...
Hot for me.

Agreed, buying a new car is pretty much the only product that punters still have to negotiate over. RRP is nonsense but then people don't get to here about the really good offers which you have to pry out of the dealerships. I've seen this car more expensive used on autotrader with 10000 on the clock and a year old.
Things I like about the edition with bose is reversing sensors, reversing camara, cruise control, air con, roof bars, fog lights, digital 9 speaker bose system to name a few. The 1.5 diesel gives around 68 mpg combined but of course in the real world thats likely 50 mpg which is respectable.

Would never buy a Renault again , would consider attractive lease deal, unless you buy another Renault rival dealers give you diddly squat for a part ex, most hated cars and vans in the Trade.

Car comes with a 4 year 100000 warranty, scores well in consumer satisfaction survey which I checked. I did some serious digging around for a used nearly new version of this car and they were more expensive than this price new despite being a year old and despite having miles on the clock. If your paying this price you won't see much loss no more than normal with any new car.
The car not bad , but do not think you will have same millage as VW or Audi etc ...

Umm you do realise this engine is in the new A-class, yes a Mercedes, along with most Nissan cars? It's well known to be a very reliable engine and with its (patented) separate injector for DPF regen, no one else can come close to it hence Mercedes licensing it.

I brought a 2004 Megane with 100,000 miles on the clock for only £750. What a bargain or so I thought. Within the first 3 months it had broken down twice. First time was engine ECU problem caused by a internal break in the wiring loom (nearly scrapped car until someone advised checking the wiring loom). Second time was caused by complete failure of clutch slave cylinder. Other minor faults include a soaking wet floor panel and a faulty steering lock. I don't think I'll buy another Renault again no matter how cheap.
