If we can get an Assassin's Creed & Call of Duty yearly, I think we can have a platformer every couple of years, it's not like gaming is overflowing with them these days.

I disagree. They have added loads of neat features to LBP 3 and LBP 4 would be most welcome, if only to fix the appalling state that LBP 3 is in.

Officially more platformers around these days than shooters etc, just not from first parties.. 2015 has been the year of indie platformers, quite frankly they havent progressed enough and arent demanded enough by majority of gamers for big devs to put time into.
