there is a new app Pebble Time- it adds additional features to original Pebble.It must be installed along with Pebble App.

it's not an app - the pebble time is the colour watch that was released after this. they've just updated the firmware to include all the timeline features for the earlier models.
but £44.99 is silly money - I'd be getting one if I didn't already have the pebble time

You have to download the Pebble Time app though to enable timeline on the original Pebble, I think that's what they were getting at.
