I used Revolut and bought 500 Rubles credit for £4.94. You don't need Revolut for this but it will avoid any fees for currency change.

Very hot,just done this,,and worked fine,,expected it to be complicated,though chrome would not translate the Russian text on the payment pop up.
I used the google translate app through my mobile using the rear camera.worked a treat.
Cost £2.06 and Microsoft took 30p.

For anyone interested I did these steps
1.Signed upto the free VyprVPN (you get 500mb a month) https://www.goldenfrog.com/vyprvpn
2.Downloaded the revolut app and deposited £10 using the one time MSE code which added £5 so £15 - Bonus!
3.Signed into xbox on the laptop and searched ori-clicked and was showing £8-then bottom left corner selected the Russian store (Pоссия)
4.Used translate to do what I could within chrome then when I entered the payment screen I just used the google translate app viewing text through my mobile. ,Put in my revolute account details,with my proper address,but I changed the city box to "Tomsk" and used postcode "634003"
5.before going any further I connected the VPN and selected Russia
6.clicked pay,all done
I am not sure if this is how everyone else does this,but I just wanted to try and do a step by step for how I did this and for anyone who is thinking this is complicated.

It is probably getting most of the cold votes because it isn't mentioned what 'Russian Store' it is from or on what platform.

foreign store, alot of people don't know how to get from or are not botherd to try something different.. so they vote cold even on something better than half price.. hot from me..

You can buy 500 rubles (just under £5) on the Russian Microsoft store. It's an instant code. Just redeem the code and buy the game :smiley:

No, you need VPN for Russian xbox store. The credit is sold on the MS store so you can use any card and then redeem the code for credit. you can then easily use the credit for buying items. Frustrating as I want to buy something else and could do part payment with what is left on the Revolut card. You need VPN though (and wouldn't actually need a Revolut card, any would be fine - I just use it to avoid currency changing fees from my bank).
