Hot but from previous posts on this drive, it has poor write speeds. I think it was around 25-30 MBs

I'e got a couple of these, around 6 months apart, the new one is much faster (I've not got the figures to hand), hopefully that's what I'll receive this time around, but for archive purposes I can live with the slower speed if necessary.

I have one of these and it attains those speeds. Despite being slower than some USB3 drives, it's also twice the size. You can get a faster write speed, but it either won't be as large, or it won't be as cheap.
I have used mine extensively and found it to be very reliable, so I'm voting this hot.

Good to know. A bargain either way

Got mine in January 2015. Proving reliable but it is slower than some other (more expensive) USB 3.0 memory sticks. I use mine for storing movies and tv shows and it does a grand job. Prices usually vary around the £18.99 - £23 mark so two for £32 is a bargain.

The write speed is shown as 14MBs, which is abysmal if true.
Occasionally people will pop in one of these threads saying it's faster, but then never post again when asked to run a quick benchmark so we can see the true value.
So would anyone who has one of these drives kindly run CrystalDiskMark on it so we could get a real world value?
I had an abysmally slow Intempo Rainbow 64Gb drive fail recently. It felt extremely hot to the touch straight after Windows no longer detected it. I'd never experienced a Flash Drive failing beforehand but now realise that they evidently do!

Goodness me. Thats one of the worst modern drives I've ever seen.
It's one of the reasons I'm so hesitant to believe the comments on here when people say they own one and they're faster: They never post evidence and never reply again.
