just as well they're reliable because they're very difficult to repair, so I would advise getting an extended warranty or ensure they're covered under some other insurance policy.

Odd. I clicked through and - as you said - the price was £419.
Then I did a search on the jl site for surface 3 and it came back at the right price

2yr JL guarantee is decent.
