Looks like Aldi are retaliating against Tesco & Asda, they've dropped their prices on Maris Piper Potatoes 2kg , Broccoli and 1kg Carrot to just 29p from 39p.

I think the only people being fleeced here are the poor farmers. How is it possible to plant , grow, harvest, pack and transport these items at this price and everyone make a profit.

Yeah but Aldi are selling Maris Pipers which are great spuds whereas Tesco are selling standard white potatoes which are good for not much really.

I remember, there wasnt even 10p difference between bags of spuds at over £2 a bag, sam prices for Sprouts and carrots, Robin Gits (seasonal insult)
