What do you mean? You're comparing an iPad, which is essentially a consumption device, to something with a keyboard and a desktop OS which could be quite productive. What would you suggest bearing in mind you know nothing about the needs of anyone apart from yourself?

Do these have a SATA or mSATA connection for the main storage? For £99.99 they'd be an even better buy if you could fire in a bigger SSD!

Neither i would of thought. You expand storage by microsd or usb

No, it probably hasn't even got a sata header on the mobo. The storage is only 32GB internal (like a flashcard) and can be expanded with microsd card.
This is only for a bit of web browsing and email. It is not for games, 1080p videos, or 10 browser tabs! Do one thing at a time and it'll be OK, after all this has the same processor as a tablet in it. Does that make sense?

Hard wired eMMC, they are only expandable via the microSD card slot.
It's basically a Windows tablet (think of the Linx / Connect 10) but with a built in keyboard. They aren't mega fast but quick enough for most users considering the price. I find that I can have Firefox (multiple tabs with heavy graphics), MediaMonkey running and Excel open and usable all at the same time. There's less lag on these than there is with the Galaxy Note 8 I have if that helps..

Since the model number is 100s, you missed a great opportunity for a pun there.
Something like 'Spend a little extra and get something 100s of times better - ha ha!'.
Shame really, because the rest of your post was 2/10 material.

Copy paste of the specs. I don't know how something so important was left out but there you go.

Great deal for a new product out. Yes it's basic spec, but if you want to do basic stuff then its a no brainer. In fact i bought one earlier and was about to post the deal before the website went down.

I would spend extra and get the Lenovo S21e from Argos. Better build, better CPU.

Would this be suitable for my 11 year old daughter for browsing and school work?

Perfectly fine for any pre-teenager.
