Seems very heavy for a car jack?

I got one off these Low Profile Trolley Jacks the other day and used the 10% off voucher - great price
Also got a rubber insert to protect the cars underseal from scratching while lifting:
Yeah, how do you lift it up to get it in your boot at that weight

I've not a clue - I don't think the designer has thought this through.
You need be Geoff Capes lift that (well in his day - or is that too old for this site?)

I remember him, he's not that old. Maybe a team member from Britain's strongest man would do it.

Are you being ironic? It is for car repairs not simply changing tyres.

I got one last summer when Halfords had them for £25. Solid bit of kit, they are heavy because they are well made and don't twist like the cheaper jacks. Low profile use not much point if you have a normal car because you wont get the higher lift. Great for my Hyundai Coupe.

Personally I think the 5 piece lifting kit for £50 is great value and you get the jack in the kit.
I have the 5 piece kit and the quality is great.
