This is now the permanent price for the Session. When it was launched it was slated for being the same price as its higher spec siblings. At this price it now makes a lot more sense & is the model I would choose in the lineup

Nice size but video quality isn't that great on the session. Other models are better.

Not a bad price drop, shame battery is not removable. Does the £170 hero with wifi allow the battery bakpak attachment?
I'm in the market for one of these but honestly don't believe they are worth more than £100 for what they do.

So get a Xiaomi Yi camera. £42...and superb video quality to boot.

I am very tempted. I purchased an SJ4000 following reviews I've decided you can't skimp out on quality. Been waiting for a price drop on a decent spec GoPro. Anyone want to convince me to buy/not buy it?

The Xiaomi Yi has a 16mp Sony sensor and the same image processing chip as the Go Pro and is ~£42.

Tempting... I'll have a look around. Might wait a little while. To be honest I only really need an action cam to record a Rough Runner I'm doing in April. Maybe prices will drop further...

Anyone know what is in the GoPro gift bag?

Nothing, it's just the bag

In case anyone is interested in a dimension comparison, the GoPro Hero4 Session is 38mm x 38mm x 36.4mm depth, whereas the SJ4000 is 60mm x 41mm x 30mm (with the lens) and the Xiaomi Yi measures 60mm x 42mm x 21mm
