Similar deal is posted on HUKD for £65.20 but the key facts are:
- Official Windows 10 install
- Processor architecture supports H.264 encoding/decoding in hardware
- Essential for game streaming
- Option for 5000mAH battery & 64GB SSD
- £71 for this option
- Online reviews say this is slow access
- I suspect it's there to compensate for no TF card (uSD) slot on the chassis
- Priority direct mail (7-15 days) is less than £1 extra
- Expedited delivery (4-7 days) to UK is proportional to how many you buy (1 = £11, 3 = £4.50)
- Delivery insurance is available & proportional to how many you buy (1=£1.66, 3=£3.67)
My current uses for this are:
- Running Kodi
- Running Steam Big Picture to stream from main gaming PC
- Running Xbox app in Windows 10
- This streams from Xbox one, allowing remote power on & power off
- Xbox 360 wireless adapter (£4.50) for gaming controller
- DigiFlex remote (has app switch button) (£3.99)
- No keyboard or mouse attached, Win 10 Home does not come with RDP so using Google Remote Desktop is a good free way around this (RDP wrapper can be problematic due to the default login mechanism which is setup)
- A cheap mini USB hub (£2) can be used to extend ports if required
- http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AFYCBR6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00
My experiences are:
- Kodi is fast and smooth for media streaming (SD & HD)
- Control from phone or DigiFlex remote
- Steam is fine for 1080p @ 60fps, although 30fps is recommended as setup is tweaked
- Xbox App is great, although the controllers don't navigate the app yet (360 controller)
- The DigiFlex remote can be used for this (mouse pointer thumb stick)
- There are apps which can 'auto click' certain areas to launch the connection automatically
- The box can run a little warm, a lot of people on the web comment on this but I'm not convinced it's a problem
- The PSU has an EU adapter which can disconnect easily, but I found that using insulation tape was an easy fix (5V 2.5A adapter required otherwise)
- I have the Cenovo mini PC which I have compared this to
- The performance is equivalent (same Px, RAM size & ROM size)
- The Voyo is better looking & slightly smaller
- The Wifi in the Cenovo & Voyo can be intermittent (speed fluctuations)
- Some reviews online state the same issue, especially if using BT at the same time
- I mainly use LAN or HomePlugs so this may need more testing by other users
- Battery is a nice feature but I've never found a use for it (i.e. moving without reboot, use in the car with seat screen, charging phone when on the move)
- These are some of the applications I can think of but in my opinion they're not practical
Overall I think this is a great option for small clients (Media & gaming) hooked up to your TV with a central processing option for Game/Media hosting.
I haven't used this a day to day PC (which is why I don't have the 64GB SSD extension). I don't see why this can't run Office apps or browse the web well, if the Linx Tablet can do then these little boxes can do it.

Never send anything back to gearbest as paypal demands. It will cost loads if recorded sp. to China, they will deny getting it, and paypal will not refund even if it was recorded delivery because they deny receiving it.
To get a refund from gearbest contact your bank's "Credit Card Dispute department". Gearbest mainly scams Americans but has done numerous Brits too.
I had one of these from gearbest. It worked for a day, then failed. Costs more
To send it back to China than it costs for the device.
Nice small pc, but the internal
Components are cheap. Quick enough for Kodi but that's it. If you want to use it as a pc get a nuc.

How are you using an Xbox 360 controller with Xbox One streaming? I thought it only allowed the use of the Xbox One controller? Good deal though.

Id be interested in this to put at the back of my telly and play all my films off. Thinking of pairing with a keyboard with a trackpad. Can anyone see any problems with this?
If you install Kodi you should be able to stream your movie files from a USB source or a remote source over your network (i.e. media PC).

Hint for tiny PCs - add a short USB extension lead and plug the keyboard/mouse nano adapter in there. Sometimes the Bluetooth interferes with Wifi when they are so close inside the tiny PC then the kb/mouse range suffers.
Once the dongle & Xbox 360 controller are connected do the following:
1. Open Xbox App & Connect to Xbox One
2. Enable Streaming
The Xbox 360 controller should allow you to now control your Xbox One. It won't allow you to navigate the Xbox App itself however, this only works with official controllers & wireless receivers.
I hope this helps.

this or the chuwi hi8 pro? I've ordered the Chuwi but still waiting on stock but this claims to run cad and photoshop which is what I'm looking for a portable solution to do light cad and photoshop work while travelling?

Isn't this the device that most people have had problems with due to bad soldering on the battery connection ?
If so I would be avoiding this.

Still waiting on mine and I ordered on the 1st December. Some of these boxes have problems with not turning on due to bad wiring...

My deliveries from FastTech & Bang Good took 4-6 weeks, ordered in the first few days of November. Don't expect your delivery before Christmas.
Gear Best, on the other hand, delivered in about two weeks.
