"The Edimax BR-6208AC router supports the next generation IEEE 802.11ac wireless standard, meaning higher data rates in the 5GHz band. With 300Mbps speeds in the 2.4GHz band and 433Mbps speeds in 5GHz, the BR-6208AC is ideal for HD video streaming and large file transfers. "
- It seems good value if you need to do some bridging/access pointing for some moderate internet use, this will be fine for facebooking/youtube/hukd activities if you need it to go to the garage or an outbuilding.

Would this be any good to connect my ps4 to my router by using the bridge as the ps4 is connected via wifi but my nat is coming up as moderate so won't allow me to play online.
Previous my ps4 was connected to the router via ethernet cable and worked with no issues but I've had to move the router downstairs and my nat is now moderate rather than open

You could try using this as a bridge and hooking the PS4 with ethernet, but to be fair its a 50/50 chance of improvement (imo)

I use a homeplug to connect straight to my PS4 from my router instead of using wireless as my router is downstairs.

Is there any other ways? I seen a YouTube guide about changing settings on the router to open ports. Would that be more reliable to open the nat up so I can play online

Do you get a decent connection and speed with them as heard mixed reviews

I have a NETGEAR Powerline 500Mbps and I connect to a switch for my TV, PC and PS4. I seem to get decent speed and never had any problems so far finders crossed.

Honestly I always switch off any "security" features of the routers simply because the cause more trouble than good, have a strong WPA password and you will be fine, switch everything else off and give it a go.
