Been looking for a cordless drill as my Makita one no longer holds charge. Found this which looks good as it's usually about £150 but has come down to £129.99 as part of their 'black and yellow' weekend.

Or you could just buy another battery for the Makita? Anyway, a brilliant joiner/plumber/electrician who has undertaken a lot of work for us, uses a complete set set of DeWalt kit and he's really happy with their performance.

save yourself a few quid if your battery has gone and send it to re-cell my battery for 36 pound its far cheaper than buying a new drill and will work as good as new

Not if it's LiIon: "We don't recell these Li-ion makes:
Dewalt, Hilti, Makita, Ryobi, AEG, Facom, Ingersoll Rand, Panasonic, Hitachi and Milwaukee. All these have controller circuits which disable the battery so re-cells are not possible."
