Assassin's Creed Syndicate Special Edition
Extra Mission - The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Meet two of the greatest minds of the Victorian Era.
London, 1868. The Industrial Revolution unleashes an incredible age of invention, transforming the lives of millions with technologies once thought impossible. Opportunities created during this time period have people rushing to London to engage in this new world. A world no longer controlled by kings, emperors, politicians or religion, but by a new common denominator: money.
However, not everyone is able to enjoy the benefits of this boom. Despite fueling the engine of the British Empire, workers’ lives are little more than legalized slavery while the top few percent profit from their labor. Living poor and dying young, the lower class unite together in protest as a new kind of family – gangs – who turn to a life in the underworld in their struggle to survive. A struggle, until watchful Assassins come to their side and re-ignite an age-old conflict involving London’s leaders that will echo throughout modern history from the underground, up.
Introducing Assassin Jacob Frye, who with the help of his twin sister Evie, will change the fate of millions in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed® Syndicate. Rise to rally and lead the underworld to break the corrupt stranglehold on London in a visceral adventure filled with action, intrigue and brutal combat.

Who pays £50 for games in this day and age? Especially shocking considering you're a HUKD member.
Anyway, if you wanna feel better buy the game again from GAME and keep it for a day. Then return the next day with the receipt you got with the £50 copy you bought and get it refunded. Voila - you've saved £25.
Inevitable that this would drop in price fairly quickly, probably has a lot to do with sales? Can't say I know of figures, but i'd be surprised if they didn't take a hit after the abomination that was Unity on release.
Either way, hot for the price of a newly released game!

Just started playing black flag. Can't believe how much better it is than Unity and it was released earlier!
What's this like in comparison to the last two?

AC games have historically (heh) dropped pretty quickly. I don't think I've paid more than £15 each for the past few entries

The thing is, Unity is a lovely game. That launch really made them suffer. I feel sorry for the mob mentality hate the game got at launch, a bit OTT. General consensus on the AC forums is this has a better story, tighter controls and the downside being the tedious horse n carts racing with "drifting" which obviously a horse drawn carriage really can't
On Unity, the game needed to be put into Language:French. People moaned about stupid English cor blimey accents in Paris, but just stick it in French and you get English sub titles - so feels more "authentic". I love it.
