The girlfriends just bought the fire stick and I was considering one of these to replace the rather lacklustre smart features on my Sharp TV. Does anyone know if these boxes suffer from the audio sync issues the stick suffers from? The Sticks we've tried both have the same issue where where the audio on the likes of YouTube and iPlayer goes out of sync if paused or at random.

Well that was the plan but the audio issue is a little bit concerning.

Heat added. I'm tempted to bite and get one but I'm hoping the Nvidia shield drops to £120 again, great price though.

I'm the same mate.....just sold my aftv fire box 1st generation. This is without a doubt a class product an excellent deal. but I'm itching to get the nvidia shield. or I'd be all over this.

Are the additional features to this (compared to the stick) worth having?

Whats the running costs? Does it require a contract, and what TV content does it give you?
(Am clearly a clueless Fire TV observer).
