Ok, here are some initial results. Looking good since the packs say they need to be cycled 5 times before they reach full capacity.
As Magnets found, they came charged out of the packet to about 80% capacity.
Having charged them up fully, on first cycle of discharge, the AAAs had a capacity of about 910mAh and the AAs a capacity of 2400mAh.

Don't get hung up on capacity - it's a figure plucked out of the air. These (or at least the version in normal colours) are a good reliable cell and that's what matters.

Yes - they are terrible and need charging quite often - sometimes daily. Not the best. Possibly ok for remote controls but wouldnt recommend for xbox controller and the like.

ive found them to be fine, same as any other similar battery with the same mah. perhaps if you having to charge daily your playing Xbox a little too much each day?

Wrong batteries - you are talking about a different product. The clue is "ready to use".

REally? I've not had any problems with the 2 packs I've opened out of the 12 I bought on the last deal. They seem to last comparatively well compared to my duracells, and my charger reported those as 967mah and 954 mah from empty.
Perhaps it's your charger that detecting the delta-v incorrectly, assuming you've a good delta v charger?

Really??? They are not available until next Thursday. You must have either got old stock, or most probably not the pre-charged type.

I don't know about these ones but the standard Lidl Tronic NiMH batteries I've bought in the past have been quite poor. Most fail quite quickly and the rest don't hold much charge.

I have a Lidl battery charger and quite a few of their Ready to use battery's in remote controls, clocks, torches and they are just as good as the Duracell stay charged ones that I also have, the only difference I know of is the PRICE the Lidl ones are about a third of the cost of the Duracell ones.
