Had an email from MCS with a sale of up to 30% off. Load of laptops with decent specs for under £200. Think I'll get a couple for the kids for xmas and the Alienware laptop I was looking at yesterday for myself is now £300 cheaper! Very tempting!

Are these guys legit? Because even for a refurb, I see a couple of crazy prices up there.

I've a Dell Venue refurb I bought from them. First tablet I got was faulty. I sent them an email explaining the fault and they just sent out a replacement the next day for me. I can't fault the service.

Vat added at checkout, good deals about but... have bought from them before and got a really annoying stuck pixel + they have unlicensed copies of windows on the machines (they are advertised as no OS so this wasn't a surprise to me)

Some of these machines are very old models. The whole set up looks dodgy to me.

oh, I was hopping for an Alienware alpha but no luck.
Nice prices anyway.

Ordered a few Dell Venue 11 Pro accessories from them (keyboard, desk dock iirc) so they're legit. Currently £235 for a V11P with an i5 and 8GB of RAM, might be worth the upgrade from my i3/4GB model for a bit more single threaded performance and RAM...
