Their network is SLOOOWWW.... Doesn't matter even if it's 5G.

giffgaff are known to strangle internet speeds. i used to get less than 2mb/s on 3G with full signal so might not be good for heavy users

Isn't this standard price? and don't forget that 4G is only upto 6gb then it gets throttled.
"What does ‘Always On’ data mean?
Our Always On goodybag is designed to give you peace of mind that you'll always have access to data. With Always On you get 6GB of UK data at full 4G speeds and then an unlimited data allowance at a reduced speed (256kbps) from 8am to midnight. From midnight to 7.59am you have an unlimited data allowance at full speed."

I left giffgaff for three, haven't looked back. Gg had terrible speeds, the worst signal, and prices are no longer competitive.
Due to the way giffgaff's community revolves around payback points and referrals you will always be spammed by a legion of shills.

i like this - i'm getting "unlimited" everything with virgin for the same price but no 4G though, so this would be good.

Exactly the same here although comments don't seem too positive about data.

DON't DO IT if you live in London, I just got this a month ago after being with Virgin (EE) on the same unlimited plan . Giffgaff's (O2's) 4G is slower than Virgin's 3G, Giffgaff's 3G barely works in London. In the process of moving to EE after just one month on Giffgaff. Shocking performance.

Hi don't leave virgin, i had same plan as yours on virgin everything unlimited and left virgin to get 4g speeds on giffgaff but after trying for 2 months i m tired of giffgaff internet speeds 4g & 3g its not as fast as virgin 3g trust me i've tried giffgaff in london, derby & nottingham. I want to go with virgin again but can't as they don't have unlimited data now.

Yes this is the normal price. I don't know why this has been posted as a hot deal when its the normal price for the package

They're just trying to use IT buzz words, but it means nothing here. I don't even get a 3G signal let alone 4G on giffgaff where I live, so for me it's more "Always Off".

Tethering?

"Can I tether with my goodybag?
Yes, you sure can. You can tether with a £20 goodybag for the first 6GB of data, after you reach that limit tethering will no longer be allowed. We will send you a text when you’re about to reach the end of your data. Tethering will work on all smartphones and other devices with an inbuilt tethering feature, such as laptops and tablets."

Shame they reduce speeds ridiculously slow once you go over 6GB data.

Yea I found them crap in Colchester. I went to three, so yes I get less minutes but I get 4g and my signal is better everywhere I go and my 3g speeds are very good also

Don't know why you saying slow, as I am using this from 3 years, and 3G was fast, and switching to 4G is even faster and I don't noticed any slowdown comparing to typical broadband

This is the best you can get! You can even use call forwarding. Not to voicemail but any number you want. Brilliant.
